This week the Mobile Science Lap will be visiting Glen. Our students will participate in science labs under the theme Food, Fiber, and You. General Education Plans have been sent to the parents of qualifying students. If you have not returned your signed copy of your student’s plan, please do so immediately. This week will be the first of our Holiday Spirit Weeks. Tomorrow will be Mele Kalikimaka Monday. Wear your summer vacation attire with a holiday twist. Tuesday wear holiday socks. Wednesday, wear your favorite PJs or comfy clothes. Thursday will be merry and bright when you wear something shy and bright. Wear red on Friday for Santa’s Angels. As a reminder, please make sure you put your child’s name on the tag of their jackets or outerwear. Do not let your child bring toys or other items not appropriate for school and instruction with them. And check your child’s backpack and messages for your child’s teacher regarding homework and other assignments. Arrival begins at 8:30 AM and dismissal begins at 3:35 PM. Any changes in dismissal must be in writing. If you have any questions please contact the office.

On Thursday, November 21, Wicomico County Public Schools held two Public Information Sessions regarding the current School Boundary Study and the two draft options for boundary changes.
There is now an ONLINE SURVEY open through Dec. 9 to gather feedback on the two draft options for the school boundary changes. Just scan the QR code in either English, Spanish or Haitian Creole to participate in this survey. We want to hear from you.

Calling All 5th Graders!
5th Grade Gators are invited to attend a Virtual Leadership Training on Thursday, December 5th from 6-7 PM on Zoom. Students will participate in a virtual tour of Parkside's Career Technical Education program. They will see how Parkside trains their scholars for the future workforce today! Then a visit to Wor Wic to see what community opportunities they have to offer for a two-year program. Next, a virtual tour of Salisbury University and the different majors they offer for a four-year degree. Finally, we will stop at University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) to see what opportunities are provided at that campus. We are excited for you to join in learning about the opportunities you have to prepare for your future!
